I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be present at the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV.
In fact, this trip was organized several months before Pope Francis’ passing, and by chance, I had scheduled a visit to St Peter’s Square that very Sunday. I was staying in Prati, a 7 min walk from there and got up at 5am to be among the first to enter. A truly special and memorable experience.
