2024 - Sacred Offerings: The Ritual of Almsgiving

This series of pictures was taken at sunrise in Wat Traphang Thong, a temple situated in the center of Sukhotai.  The temple was built around the 14th century and is located in the middle of a lake, and connected with bridges. We were staying nearby and I woke up to the sound of chanting monks. I grabbed my camera, sprinted out of our room and witnessed this amazing almsgiving ceremony.
